Introduction

Transcov is a bioinformatics software for mapping coverage around Transcription Start Sites (TSS’). Transcov aims to solve the following needs:

• Extract data from bam files

• Build a suitable data structure

• Manipulating the data structure, like aggregating across samples

• Explore coverage around TSS’.
